Summerslam Countdown: Over!

Well, we're a little over 24 hours away from WWE Summerslam 2011. The time flew by quick from the 1st countdown video I made...which I believe may have been about 28 days ago. I'm pumped, it's only 5 matches, but I have high hopes for the show, especially the main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship. HHH is now the special guest referee, so it's pretty much a given that something is gonna go down between The Game and the 2 combatants. With it being only 5 matches, it seems like they might give they main matches quite a bit of time, which is great in my opinion. I'm gonna head over to Staples Center pretty early...wanna get in the doors asap. Thinking of buying a shirt or some sort of merchandise, but I'm not quite decided. It's between a CM Punk, Sheamus, or Undertaker shirt, depending if they have Taker memorabilia. Anyway, let me know if you're gonna be tuning into the show and who you have your money on in the comments below.

Happy Birthday to the President!

August 4th was U.S. President Barack Obama's birthday. He turned the big 5-0. And what a nice birthday present to receive than a 500 point negative on the DOW Jones closing. Huge worries about that. Now some may support his actions, some may blast them, but he runs this country for now. 2012 is right around the corner, so who knows what will happen at the end of those elections based on what's been happening recently. What do y'all think of the birthday President? What will happen in November 2012? Let me know in the comments below.

WWE Summerslam 2011 Countdown: 12 Days

Time has flown by since I last made a Summerslam post. 12 days remain for the event...but yet only 3 matches have been officially made as of this writing. Seems like some of the other matches may be rushed and put together rather quickly, although there are some matches you can see coming. If you want to talk about total predictability, last night on Raw, the waiting the whole night to announce something we could of seen coming from 2 weeks prior to it, and that is CM Punk vs John Cena to crown a new Undisputed WWE Champion. I hope they get a new belt design, long overdue. I'm not bashing the match, but I hope it could be another classic like the performance at Money in the Bank.
